Projects And Initatives
NAAIA Chicago will have a meaningful impact on the Chicago-area insurance community. We will work to effectively implement programs and strategies to support the following three key initiatives:
- Career Management and Professional Development. We firmly believe that individual success is and should be a reflection of one’s efforts toward personal growth, development, performance and results. Therefore, NAAIA Chicago will serve as a beacon of leadership by utilizing our networks, diverse talents, resources and partnerships to maintain an environment in which our members are motivated to achieve and are empowered to take the steps necessary to excel in their careers.
- Youth Programs. Our mission is to establish insurance as a meaningful career choice and attract future leaders to our industry. Through programs initiated in partnership with select area schools, our partner companies and our members, we will be proactive and diligent in our quest to enlighten youth to consider insurance as a career choice. We will offer youth programs and support designed to raise the level of consciousness, interest and excitement about insurance-related careers and opportunities.
- Minority Agent & Broker Best Practices. We will support our agent members and corporate partners in the development and refining of best practices and community-based knowledge which will allow for stronger, more successful partnerships, business development and growth.
